AGCO and Isuzu main dealer, Crawfords Group is offering a free-of-charge, county-wide parts delivery service for customers of its Charing and Swingfield depot.

The initiative means that parts, tools and sundries ordered from the depots will be delivered direct to customers in the dealer’s dedicated delivery van. All areas of Kent will be visited at least once each week, while areas where parts volumes are especially high will receive deliveries on additional days too.

Added Convenience

“The Crawfords Group enjoys a great reputation for its customer service, and ensuring efficient parts back-up has always been a priority,” explains Crawfords Group Parts Manager, Duncan Waitland. “The new service provides extra convenience for busy customers as parts ordered will be delivered the next time the van is in their area. If parts are needed more urgently, then we still offer next-day delivery by carrier, and customers are welcome to call in and collect parts and supplies from the showroom and parts counter too.

“Our parts delivery service provides an additional option for our customers. It’s a Crawfords Group van driven by a Crawfords Group parts specialist, and it gives convenient access to a wide range of service and sundry items too.”

Isuzu Parts to the Trade

Increased demand for Isuzu parts from customers and the motor trade was one of the main factors in starting the delivery service. “As the main Isuzu dealer for Kent we supply a large volume of parts to bodywork specialists. Demand for a regular delivery service has been growing, so it made sense to offer deliveries of AGCO Massey Ferguson, Fendt and Valtra parts too, while the van travels around the county. The parts van will also be stocked with Sealey tools and workshop equipment as well as lubricants, cleaning products and sundries; making it easier for all our customers to get hold of essential supplies without making a special journey to our depot.”

Genuine parts for Crawfords Group’s other main franchises will also be delivered, including Manitou, Amazone, Lemken,Spearhead, He-Va, Opico and more.

Dedicated Driver

The van is driven by Crawfords Group Customer Care & Support Specialist, Ronnie Cray. Already experienced in the range of franchises and products offered by Crawfords Group, she has mobile access to manufacturer parts systems from the van, making it easier to identify correct parts, place orders and check availability, while still at the customers’ premises.

“It’s all about customer service,” stresses Duncan. “Ronnie is well known to many of our customers and, since we started a limited delivery service in February, it has quickly proved popular, and customers look forward to her visit. Now, we are rolling it out as a permanent service for new and existing customers across all of Kent, allowing even more to benefit.

“The range of sundries, tools and equipment carried on the van are used in every farm workshop and by every motor trade business. Ronnie will be just as happy to call in to meet and supply those new to the Crawfords Group as those already familiar with the great service available,” he concluded.
